If you ever suffer a loss of insured property, it is imperative that you account for all the items you lost and give an estimate of their value. Be sure to keep the completed forms in a safety deposit box or other secure location in case of a loss.

Supplementing the Personal Property Inventory with a photo or video record of room contents, plus bills of sale, receipts and appraisals of items of special value is also recommended to provide the greatest possible accuracy in documenting a loss.
